The alliance of excellence in the industry of the future

To optimize the operational excellence of the professionals, ITECA deploys digital twin solutions with major industrial accounts and mid-cap companies. Expert in artificial intelligence, augmented reality and virtual reality, ITECA has responded to the needs of Hennessy by rolling out collaborative solutions, training and intervention and supervision assistance, including the digitalization of the continuous improvement approach.
In view of its implementation, Hennessy has made the industrial site of production of Pont Neuf the flagship project of its industry of the future by mobilizing wills and new, multi-site, multi-service and multi-user means.

  • The various teams of the house were thus able to be trained before the opening of the site and become familiar with their new working environment.
  • Subcontractors and suppliers were able to benefit from specific training from the digital twin.
  • Local authorities (fire brigade, gendarmerie …) were able to rely on this work to prepare intervention procedures and understand the site better.
  • The whole process was carried out in consultation and enabled the collective intelligence to come forward and to generate commitment from the field operators.

Using the so-called immersive emerging technologies, ITECA designs intuitive interactive interfaces that make it possible to apprehend a digital twin, scale one, in real time, in mobility or in sedentarity, from virtual reality, augmented reality or from a tablet or smartphone.

A unique partnership of open innovation

 The relationship between a prestigious local actor such as Hennessy and a SME from Angoulême such as ITECA demonstrates a genuine commitment to the virtuous principles of open innovation. It was a question of bringing the transversality and the agility necessary to a strategic project of digital transformation of the company.

In order for such an asymmetrical report to work, the professional maturity and boldness of Hennessy House’s innovators and, on the other hand, goldsmithery, technological know-how and the passion of ITECA have had to be on the one hand on the cutting edge topics of digital.

The Digital Twin of all records

 ITECA was the first SME in France to offer a Digital Twin of this size. Beyond the only digital model of a 26,000 m² industrial site, the challenge was to model certain flows, specifically, on the production line. From the points of entry to the exit points, all the processes had to be restored in animations, in order to be able to offer, in the long term, algorithmic models for optimizing the production of the bottling site.

Hennessy welcomes ITECA on LVMH stand

This year, Hennessy will host ITECA in a pavilion dedicated to the experience of the Digital Twin at the Hennessy Pont Neuf site. Visitors will be able to experience an interactive and immersive experience of virtual reality and discover the 26,000 m² of this unique industrial site in Europe. It is a virtual factory in the heart of VivaTech thanks to the know-how of the industry 4.0.

To encourage new uses, it is essential for ITECA to offer high quality experiences. As such, if the position of ITECA, software publisher, concerning the hardware in general and display devices remains agnostic, it seemed essential to him to raise the criteria of selections of material performances with the suppliers of helmets of reality virtual reality and augmented reality.

HTC Vive was early to engage professional application developers and innovative solution providers, the recovery of need was crystal clear. Therefore, physical quality was an essential component of the experiential restitution of ITECA software. And it is on this criterion that the suppliers were challenged in anticipation of a demonstrator put forward through the ITECA pavilion of VivaTech‘s LVMH booth.
